Volunteer
We welcome newcomers from all walks of life to be involved on whatever basis they are capable of to help make a difference, contribute and have positive experiences.
Volunteers are required year round and on our activity and program days to assist with preparation. Duties include:
- Cooking (BBQ & open fire damper making)
- Vegetable patch growing and maintenance, plantings of wildlife areas
- Caring for poultry, guinea pigs, horses and cattle
- Maintaining fencing, constructing animal shelters
- Fundraising, paperwork, grant applications.
Through Somerset Disability Lifestyle Community Inclusion, Izaac will be offering programs based around the sport of cutting horses, equine care, other horse and country related activities, with social interaction of like minded people enjoying life in a respectful and kind manner for all humans and animals.
